FAQ: Opening A New Account
What Do I Need To Open An Account At Bay Financial Savings Bank?
  • A Social Security number. If you're not a U.S. Citizen and don't have this information, please call Customer Service.

  • A valid Drivers License or State ID. You must be 18 years old or older.

  • A second form of ID, such as a Passport, Military ID or major credit card.

Why Is Personal Information Required To Open An Account?
Your accounts are opened subject to our ability to verify your identity. Bay Financial Savings Bank may obtain a report from a consumer reporting agency regarding your past checking accounts.

What If I Am Opening A Joint Account?
You'll need the same information that is required when opening an individual account, but you will need it for both applicants.
